When you consider all the daddy issues Bruce Banner has (and the struggles in between), that he consider his father a monster (Even going as far as to say his family had a monster gene), the fact that he wants to be as different from his father as he can be aaand the fact that when he gets angry he looses control of his body and mind (Like any enraged person, but you know, green an big) like a monster, then you suddenly realize Hulk is one of the most psychologically complex (and damaged) of the “main” Marvel characters.
